Created educational materials concerning cybersecurity within the project “SHIELD: Simulation Game-Based Hands-on Instruction for Enhancing Cybersecurity Learning and Development”

As we approach the celebration of Safer Internet Day 2025, we’re excited to share an interactive gaming activity that was presented during a recent workshop focused on gamifying cybersecurity education. The workshop was organized within the project the project “SHIELD: Simulation Game-Based Hands-on Instruction for Enhancing Cybersecurity Learning and Development”, as part of the Knowcyber grants, led by the e-Governance Academy (eGA) and funded by the European Commission.

This gamifying activity is planned to be implemented with the whole class, encouraging discussions on different aspects of cybersecurity.

The same storyline is transferred in online environment, where students can deepen their cybersecurity knowledge and skills through game-based learning: https://view.genially.com/67a8971a634fe53cac508c65/presentation-3storygamecsfullpptx

Additionally, the workshop participants have been working intensively in the recent period on creating educational materials that could be used for cybersecurity education, and you can access these materials at the following link Educational materials – cybersecurity SHIELD. The collection of developed resources is expected to expand over time. All these open educational materials are freely available for use by any interested parties aiming to enhance students’ cybersecurity competencies.
