The Center for Innovations and Digital Education – Dig-Ed is announcing a call for the development and implementation of game-based activities on the topic of cybersecurity, created with the help of artificial intelligence.
This call is part of the activities within the project “SHIELD: Simulation-Based Hands-On Learning to Enhance Cybersecurity Skills”, which was awarded a grant through the KnowCyber call for civil society organizations from the Western Balkans, initiated by the e-Governance Academy (eGA) as part of the Cybersecurity Capacity Building in the Western Balkans project, funded by the European Commission.
The goal of the project is to create, implement, and disseminate a new methodology and resources for schools, combining digital storytelling, artificial intelligence tools, and game-based learning, with a focus on cybersecurity.
The call is aimed at primary and secondary school teachers who wish to design and carry out game-based activities with their students on the topic of cybersecurity. The aim is to develop educational games using the SHIELD methodology, incorporating elements of artificial intelligence to create stories, levels, and challenges. These games should foster critical thinking among students by analyzing real-life scenarios.
In the coming period, Dig-Ed will organize a webinar presenting the elements of the SHIELD methodology, as well as the process of creating game-based activities using artificial intelligence.
