Establishment of a Core Teacher Group for the MED-AI Project

The Core Teacher Group for the MED-AI Project was officially formed during an online workshop held on December 17, 2024. The Open Call for teachers attracted significant interest and twenty educators, from 10 schools, were selected to participate in workshops focused on developing training materials, teaching resources, and activities centered on artificial intelligence and media literacy. Following the workshops, participants will disseminate the acquired knowledge and skills within their schools and implement the prepared materials in their classrooms with students.

During the first workshop, teachers were introduced to the project’s aims, objectives, and methodology. The project phases and their implementation timeline were also discussed. Participants shared their experiences with AI tools and ways for their integration in the teaching process. Educational resources focused on AI and media literacy were provided for review and analysis till the next workshop, laying the groundwork for the collaborative development of lesson plans, training materials, and classroom activities.
