MOTIVATE YOUR STUDENTS FOR CLIMATE ACTION WITH THE TERRA MISSION CHALLENGE

Have you ever wondered how to challenge your students to fight climate change? Join the 2022 STEM Discovery Campaign and explore the Life Terra educational resources with the first Terra Mission Challenge, a competition for primary and secondary students.

The “Terra Mission Challenge” aims to popularise Terra Mission learning materials, promote sharing best practices and motivate for actions in support to sustainability among primary and secondary school teachers and their students. The competition offers three different streams:

  • Stream 1: Terra Mission in the classroom – Submit a new Learning Scenario on Terra Mission themes.
  • Stream 2: Terra Mission idea – Submit your students’ ideas to find innovative ways to solve sustainability issues.
  • Stream 3: Terra Mission activity – Submit your Story of Implementation and tell us how Terra Mission: Educational Pack worked in your classroom.

The competition runs from 1 February to 30 April 2022, and is open to all primary and secondary school teachers participating in the 2022 STEM Discovery Campaign, which is a joint international initiative organised by Scientix that invites projects, organisations, schools and every educational stakeholder around the world to celebrate careers and studies in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

Winners of this competition will be invited to participate in very important dissemination activities, educational initiatives and training opportunities organised by Life Terra or Scientix, gaining immense visibility for you and your school.
