As part of the planned activities within Continued Engagement Plan after the TachCamp Ohrid: Countering disinformation through education, organized by the Center for Innovations and Digital Education by Dig-Ed, the United States Embassy in North Macedonia, and the U.S. Department of State’s TechCamp team from DC, mentoring visits to the schools that received grant within this project were organized. Namely, six schools received a grant to implement activities to disseminate the acquired knowledge and skills at this TechCamp.
During the April and May 2024, mentoring visits were organized with the coordinators of the projects, as well as the members of the teams. Mentoring activities were carried out by TechCamp trainers. During the visits, coordinators presented activities that have been carried out so far, as well as their impact, but also and challenges that the teachers faced during the implementation of the projects. The TechCamp trainers gave constructive feedback and guidelines for project’s further implementation. They also gave advice on how to increase project’s impact of and how to achieve project sustainability.
The communication and coordination between the grantees, the TechCamp trainers and Dig-Ed will continue in the next period in order to successfully finalize the started projects.
