Representatives from the Center for Innovations and Digital Education (Dig-Ed), Maja Videnovik and Mirjana S. Jankulovska, participated in the BETT UK 2026 conference in London, one of the world’s largest and most influential events dedicated to educational technology.

The conference brought together a global community of educators, researchers, innovators, and EdTech practitioners, providing a unique space for exchange of ideas, presentation of innovative practices, and exploration of emerging trends shaping the future of education.
During their participation, the Dig-Ed representatives engaged in a wide range of sessions, discussions, and networking opportunities focused on digital transformation in education, innovative pedagogical approaches, artificial intelligence in learning, and the role of technology in supporting teachers and students.
A key highlight of their participation was the opportunity to present and share the SHIELD project and its innovative approach to cybersecurity education through AI-supported learning, storytelling, gamification, and interactive teaching methodologies. This allowed for valuable feedback and international dialogue with educators from different educational contexts.
Participation in BETT UK 2026 provided important insights into current global developments in educational technology, as well as inspiration for future work in the areas of digital education, teacher training, and innovative learning design. It also strengthened connections with the international EdTech community and opened opportunities for future collaboration.

Dig-Ed continues to value active engagement in international initiatives such as BETT, as they contribute to professional growth, knowledge exchange, and the advancement of innovative and meaningful educational practices.
