Start with the implementation of the project within KnowCyber Grants for the Western Balkans civil society organisations

Center for innovations and digital education Dig-Ed started with the implementation of the project “SHIELD: Simulation game -based Hands-on Instruction for Enhancing Cybersecurity Learning and Development”. The project is granted within the call for KnowCyber Grants for the Western Balkans civil society organisations, from e-Governance Academy (eGA). This call is part of the Cybersecurity Capacity Building in the Western Balkans project, funded by the European Commission.

The project implementation period is 10 months starting from 15.11.2024. It aims to create, implement and deploy a novel workshop-based training methodology and resources for Macedonian primary and secondary schools that combines digital storytelling, AI tools, and game-based learning, focusing on cybersecurity. We strongly believe that the project implementation will strengthen Macedonian primary and secondary schools’ policies on cybersecurity and improve their capacities and mechanisms for teaching cybersecurity in an interesting and engaging way.
